Interpolation on the Triangle and Papus' Theorem

The purpose of this paper is to discuss a two-dimensional geometrical construction whose validity is justified by Pappus' theorem. An application to polynomial interpolation on the three-pencil mesh expressed in homogeneous coordinate is also given.
